civitatem is the latin word for “of community.” we believe in the power of people coming together — to listen, to learn, and to lead change. whether we’re supporting dialogue in a divided community, guiding organizations through ethical questions about technology, or creating space for inclusive policy-making, it all comes back to building just, caring, and collaborative communities. our focus on collectives embeds care in community, through conflict transformation and facilitated workshops to navigate differences and new ways of living and being. our focus on connections is committed to building feminist infrastructure - digital and interpersonal, through advisory support grounded in ethics and accountability. our focus on constellations is committed to thought leadership, through reflective learning and radical imagination.
